.: About Peter Kemp
Born in Armidale and with a yen to visit many different places, photography became Peter's perfect excuse for dragging his wife and kids on yet another visit to another part of Australia.
He was an enthusiastic amateur who perfected his art in between the demands of work and a generally busy life. Completely self taught, Peter's talent for photography was evident from early on. Often asked why he didn't sell his photos, Peter would just shrug and say "Maybe some day ..." life was just too busy.
When Peter moved into his last home, it was decided (by his wife) to decorate the walls with some of his photos instead of paintings. After all, why buy when there were so many gorgeous photos just waiting to be framed and hung.
After many comments including "Who took this gorgeous photo", to "Where did you get that photo, I'd like one too", it was decided to offer them to the public. Peter hasn't looked back since.
It continues to be a source of the greatest enjoyment to look on a photo taken, that has captured that special moment in time, and to realise that that moment won't ever happen again ... but the image taken stays forever.
